Hannah came to visit this summer and got to hang out with her Aunt Pita for a few days. They had such fun together and we enjoyed seeing them get to know each other better. One of Hannah's favorite toys at our house belongs to Pita. She played with this Noah's ark for hours when she was small and Hannah just loves it.
So many animals! Helping Noah load the ark.
Thanks Aunt Pita for letting Hannah play with your Noah's Ark. This Grammy and Papaw are glad we kept it!!

The Mile High Blues Festival August 9th
What a blend of jazz, blues, soul and pop!

We saw Eden Brent, Joe Bonamassa,John Hammond,Rick Estrin and the Night Cats, Reba Russell and Ryan McGarvey
Friends enjoying the show! Walt, Colleen and Beth

Walt, Colleen and Jerry
I must have been singing along! Jerry is laughing so hard!
Maybe the Mike's Hard Lemonade and Blue Moon helped!
One of the very best, Reba Russell. She is known as "the reigning queen of Memphis" and her music is worth a trip to Tennessee!
Signing autographs after the show.
A rising blues star to keep your eye on. This young guy is only 14 and his family was sitting right by us. He was not on the main stage but was on one of the side stages. He is really good! We will definitely watch for him as his music comes on.
What a fun day! We hope Denver has Blues Festival again next summer.
We ended our evening by eating great Mexican cuisine at Jack and Grill.
Great day! Thanks Walt and Colleen for sharing it with us!
